Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Agreement
By using Time Pass at time-pass.app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site. These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
2. Who may use Time Pass
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for consenting to online services. You may hold one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself.
Signing in is optional for reading the wall in part and for playing the games. It is required for posting, replying, listening to voice confessions, reading confessions in full, making friends, and sending messages.
3. What you may not post
You are responsible for everything you post. Do not post:
- anything that identifies another private individual without their consent — real names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, photographs, or details that make someone identifiable to people who know them;
- harassment, threats, or content that targets a person or group with hatred based on who they are;
- sexual content involving minors, in any form, ever — this results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities;
- content that encourages self-harm or suicide, or that presents either as a solution;
- anything illegal where you are, or content that facilitates a crime;
- spam, advertising, scams, referral links, or bulk repetitive posting;
- malware, exploits, or attempts to inject code into the site;
- impersonation of another person or of site staff;
- content you do not have the right to post, including other people’s copyrighted work.
A voice confession is subject to exactly the same rules as a written one. Recording someone else without their knowledge and posting it is not a confession; it is a violation of this section.
4. Anonymity is from other users, not from us
Posting anonymously hides your identity from everyone reading the wall. It does not hide it from site administrators, who can see the account behind any post. This exists so the rules in section 3 can actually be enforced. Do not treat an anonymous post as untraceable, and do not use it as cover for anything you would not attach your name to.
5. Moderation
We may hide or delete any content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion, with or without notice — including where we believe these terms have been broken, or where content puts someone at risk.
Hiding removes a confession from the wall and is reversible. Deleting is permanent and also removes the confession’s replies, its read history, and the points it earned.
We are not obliged to review everything posted, and content appearing on the site is not an endorsement of it. If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us.
6. Your content, and what you let us do with it
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute that content on Time Pass, for as long as you keep it on the site. This is only what is needed to show your confession to other people; it does not let us sell your writing or use it elsewhere.
Delete your content or your account and that licence ends, subject to the retention realities described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Points
Points are awarded automatically for posting a confession, writing a reply, having your confession read by someone new, playing a game, and inviting someone who joins on your link. They are recorded by the site itself; nothing you do in your browser can add points directly.
The current rates are shown on the Earnings tab of your panel and are the authoritative version. At the time of writing they are 2,500 for a confession, 60 for each new reader of it, 400 for a reply, 250 for a game played, 5,000 when someone signs up on your invite link, and a further 10,000 once that person has earned 100,000 points of their own.
To be plain about what points are:
- points are not money, currency, credit, or a financial instrument, and you do not own them the way you own money in a bank;
- they cannot be bought, sold, gifted, or transferred between accounts;
- they can be exchanged for a cash payout under section 8, at a rate we set and can change;
- we may change how points are earned, change the exchange rate, recalculate balances, or remove points obtained by manipulating the site;
- we may reduce or discontinue points entirely, including in a way that lowers what an existing balance is worth.
Deleting a confession does not take back the points it already earned. Deleting your account does — the balance goes with it, unpaid.
8. Payouts
Points above a minimum can be exchanged for a payment in cryptocurrency. The exchange rate and the minimum are shown on the Earnings tab and are set by us. At the time of writing, 1,000,000 points is worth 1.00 USD and the minimum payout is 5.00 USD.
How a payout works, end to end:
- you save a receiving wallet address on your Earnings tab — we store an address and nothing else, never a key or a seed phrase, and we hold no funds on your behalf;
- you request a payout. The points leave your balance at that moment and are set aside;
- we review the request by hand. Payouts are not automatic and there is no system here that can move money on its own;
- if the request is approved and sent, it is marked paid. If it is rejected, every point is returned to your balance.
Some things you should understand before requesting one:
- A transfer sent to the address you saved cannot be reversed. Not by us, not by you, not by the network. Check it before you save it.
- Network fees, exchange rates and the value of any cryptocurrency between us sending and you receiving are outside our control and are not our responsibility.
- We may hold, reduce or refuse a payout where we reasonably believe points were earned by breaking section 9 — automation, duplicate accounts, manufactured views, or invites to accounts that are not real people. Where we refuse, the points are returned unless they were obtained that way, in which case they may be removed.
- Payouts are funded out of the site’s advertising revenue. If that revenue falls or stops, we may pause payouts or change the rate. Any payout you have already been sent is yours; an unrequested balance is not a debt we owe you.
- Whether a payout is taxable income where you live, and whether you may lawfully receive cryptocurrency there, is entirely your responsibility. We do not withhold tax and do not give tax or financial advice.
None of this makes Time Pass a job, an investment, or a source of income you should rely on. It is a share of advertising money for writing that other people actually read, and the numbers involved are small.
9. Fair use of the site
Do not attempt to farm points through automation, scripted requests, multiple accounts, invites to accounts you control, or by manufacturing views of your own content. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, extract data in bulk, probe the site’s security, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it. Accounts doing any of this may be removed without warning, along with their points and any pending payout.
10. Messages and friends
You can only message people who have accepted your friend request. Messages are stored in plain text and are readable by site administrators where moderation requires it. Treat them as private from other users, not as private from us.
11. Availability
Time Pass is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime, and no guarantee that content will be preserved. It is a personal project running on free-tier infrastructure. Features may change or disappear. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Time Pass and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, from content posted by other users, or from the site being unavailable or losing data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
13. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may terminate an account for breach of these terms. Sections 6, 7, 11 and 12 survive termination.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated at the top and announced on the site. Continuing to use Time Pass after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator resides, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
